I'm working on my third chin and have developed some respectable chub. I have grown so much that by now I no longer fit into some of my newborn outfits.
(Pictured: Me not quite fitting into the outfit my mother was dressed in the day she first came home from the hospital).
My eye color has been changing. It is still a newbornish blue, but seems to be getting lighter. Most importantly, though, I've gotten really good at making eye contact. I am a good gazer.
(see me here wearing my SmartWwool socks as mittens, the hat my grandma made, and the blanket Marian knit for me!)
I make farm animal sounds. Lots of them. Most common are piggies, baby donkey, crow, goose, and sheep. I make them when I eat, I make them when I'm being changed, and sometimes I even make them in my sleep.
I have been meeting family members. Oma Lily came to see me.
My aunt Hedy and I had a really nice cuddle.
My grandma Carol took me on several walks. I went to the bookstore, the art store, and just around the neighborhood. I mostly saw my pacifier.
It was exhausting.
I have been given several nicknames. Mostly I go by Luli, but I've heard them use Gumbutz and גמדון (gnome). Ridiculous.
I started smiling. They are debating whether I mean it when I smile or whether these are not social smiles yet. Whatevs.
Oh, and I had a bad rash, and so got some bum airtime. My froggy nature is becoming more and more apparent.
The water torture routine really brings it out.
I keep it chill.

There has been careful rapprochement with the cat.
Anyway, time to sleep.
Good night, baby sloth!
Signed, Leo
