Ocean

Today I saw the ocean.

I loved it. I looked at it quietly for a long time.

There were boats, and reflected light, and a nice breeze, and even a dog on a paddle board.

(In my family, we are not great at taking selfies:)

For lunch, I explored the restaurant's underworld.

It was a great day out.

I am 8 months old!

This time, it was easier to sit up for the picture, but harder to stay still. So many things to sink my teeth into!

In which my hair undergoes transformations

So my hair was starting to look a bit crazy.

Sometimes it would get into my eyes and really annoy me. Sometimes it was just unruly. I guess I got stuck in between the longer birth hair and the shorter new hair.
My parents started experimenting with some edgy hairstyles. First, I got a pony tail. This was Oren's idea. But my mom implemented it in a style that's a cross between baby samurai and some horrible mid-eighties mushroom top-pony tail.

I did think it worked, though.

Made me look like I mean business.

In the end they decided to cut off two fringes, one on each side, to even things out a bit. I simply HATED that. Luckily it was very short: a 15-seconds haircut.

And now I look respectable again.

Breakfasts on the Porch

Every morning, we eat breakfast on the porch.
My parents get a whole bunch of things to eat, but I'm not always happy with what they give me.

One time it was nice. I got a lot of different textures to play with and stuff to throw on the ground before throwing the bowl down, too.

That was really funny.

Wait, what's in there today?

 Oh goody; cheerios!
 I'll eat that.

Luli's Food Reviews #3: Pear

My first all-around thumbs-up!

(NB I am told this is a face my mom used to make when she was a baby. I may upload a photo soon, so you can compare for yourself).

Luli's Food Reviews #2: Banana

[For this review, we tried a cutting-edge approach to camera work: the shaky one-hand spiral]

Texture: Nice and sticky; great as toy.
Flavor: I prefer the peel.

Luli's Food Reviews #1: Cookie

Trying out a teething biscuit.

Texture: Excellent.
Flavor: Difficult.
