I am behind!

Really behind on postings, I know -- trying to catch up.

In the meantime, would you like some cheese? 

I am 10 Months Old!

So I am quite big now. I spend a lot of time sitting up, playing and just overseeing my surroundings. I try to pull up on furniture, and would love to finally be able to stand up. I'm getting there...

I make faces. I love making faces. Especially if I can also show my teeth and make funny hissing sounds or scream a little just to test out my voice.













 And I like summer.

We go to the park, where we just hang out, or read books.













I try to eat sticks, and check out other babies.


















Sometimes, when it's too hot, we go to the library. Lots of books to look at, and many other kids, too! It's all very interesting.

I make friends everywhere we go. I smile at people, and strike up conversation. The world seems to be filled with nice people who are all happy to talk to me! I feel like a celebrity.

I am 9 months old!

Pupik and Pipika

I would like to introduce my two stuffed friends: Pupik the puppy and Pipika the zebra.

Ocean

Today I saw the ocean.

I loved it. I looked at it quietly for a long time.

There were boats, and reflected light, and a nice breeze, and even a dog on a paddle board.  

(In my family, we are not great at taking selfies:) 

For lunch, I explored the restaurant's underworld. 

It was a great day out.

I am 8 months old!

This time, it was easier to sit up for the picture, but harder to stay still. So many things to sink my teeth into!

In which my hair undergoes transformations

So my hair was starting to look a bit crazy. 

Sometimes it would get into my eyes and really annoy me. Sometimes it was just unruly. I guess I got stuck in between the longer birth hair and the shorter new hair. 

My parents started experimenting with some edgy hairstyles. First, I got a pony tail. This was Oren's idea. But my mom implemented it in a style that's a cross between baby samurai and some horrible mid-eighties mushroom top-pony tail. 

I did think it worked, though.

Made me look like I mean business.

In the end they decided to cut off two fringes, one on each side, to even things out a bit. I simply HATED that. Luckily it was very short: a 15-seconds haircut.

And now I look respectable again.

Breakfasts on the Porch

Every morning, we eat breakfast on the porch. 

My parents get a whole bunch of things to eat, but I'm not always happy with what they give me. 

One time it was nice. I got a lot of different textures to play with and stuff to throw on the ground before throwing the bowl down, too.  

That was really funny.

Wait, what's in there today?

 Oh goody; cheerios! 

 I'll eat that.

I am 7 Months Old!

This Is My High Chair and I Am Uncertain

I have a new place to sit for mealtimes. I have mealtimes!

 Sitting upright is exciting, but a bit scary. Of course, I am wearing my hip red turtleneck, so things could be worse.

My mama

These flowers are for my mama. My mama gave birth to me on October 25, 2013. Hurrah mama!

A Little Message

Just a few things I had to say.

(Please ignore the little food mess on my chin. Let's focus on what's important here).

I am 6 Months Old!

I've been meaning to post to my journal, but my parents have not been helping me at all. I will therefore just upload a few new photos, and let them catch up with the backlog. In the meantime, mind you, a lot has happened. I have turned five- and then six- months old; eaten all sorts of new things; met a few more family members; learned to love bath time; and am almost sitting up by myself. In short, a lot to report, and I expect my parents to do some serious catching up in the next few days. Seriously, guys; get on it.

In Which I Am At leisure

This afternoon I had a three hour nap.  At first I was kind of disoriented.

Then Papa gave me a hug and we played "Num Num Num Num Num" and pretty soon I was ready for action!

Roll over, Beethoven!

Today I practiced faces.

This is happy:

This is sad:

This is: "I'm late for my GQ photo shoot but I'm too cool to care"

And this is, "I know an old lady who swallowed a fly - perhaps I'll try it myself!"

Once I'd fueled up, it was time to rock and roll. Things started slowly in the gymnasium.

But then I was cooking.

Wait, why does everything look sideways?

 Making the full turn is still a work in progress, but my Papa gave me a hand. Or did he take a hand?????

Hey, now the other one's missing.....

Aghhhhh! Where did it go? That is too weird.

Man, I am bushed.
