I am Three Months Old!

I celebrated by looking at my mobile.

(See how I'm looking all 3-month-old in the outfit that Hege sent me?)

My day started with an interesting exchange with the cat. I thought it was funny. He wasn't sure.

I played in my activity center for quite a while. I now know how to grab the dangling toys, so it gets exciting.

then we went out to lunch. Einat joined us.

It was great. I read, I ate, I looked around - there was lots to see. There was a two week old baby at the table next to us. I remember going to the same place when I was two weeks old! I bet the other baby doesn't blog, though.

Then it was time to swing at my toys again.  It was a good day!

Oh yes - Grandma is here. And I have a raccoon outfit!

Winter

The past month I've been very busy.

first, I was very cute.

Right after Christmas, my parents took me to the doctor. Just routine, they said.

You will never believe what happened! They stabbed me with needles!

I am told it's good for me to spend time on my tummy, exploring or something.  I'm not so sure. Good thing the lion rattle keeps me company.

It's winter!

My parents are trying out a new kind of carrier around the house. I like it, for the most part.

Another thing I like is napping with my parents.

But most of all, I love my mobile.

It hangs above my change pad; I love having my diaper changed, because then I can spend time talking to it and laughing at its jokes.

It can get very exciting.

My parents appear to be very organized.

I am busy growing, so I need to sleep a lot.

Just as the new year was starting, there was some serious weather.

My parents seemed worried we may encounter a food shortage; they baked bread.

I wasn't too worried, though.

I've grown a lot the past few weeks. To keep it going, I try to sleep as much as possible (at least during the day).

Knowing how much I love my mobile, Eliana got me a book about it. It's very well written.

It's snowing outside again. I think I'm going to read some more.

Let's do lunch

On Sunday I went out to brunch with my parents, Abigail, Avner, Yonatan, and Naomi. They took me to a hip place with live jazz. Great Bloody Mary, too. But most of all, it was an excellent nap.

These guys were not sleeping, somehow.

On Monday I had lunch with Serena and my mom. This time I did nit sleep; there was so much to take in! I love Vietnamese.
(We were having such a nice time, we forgot to take photos).

Art

Today I went to the museum! It was very cold outside, so I was bundled up in my polar bear suit. (A lady we met at the museum referred to it as 'bunny suit'. That actually makes sense given that my older sibling is a rabbit).

In the museum, many people talked to me. But turns out I actually like art: I just wanted to focus on the pictures. There were so many lights to look at, too!

Here are a few of the ones I liked best (John Singer Sargent's watercolors):

Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with Serena, Ed, Julia, Sandy, Auggie, and Kersi. (I am the little reindeer on the left).
